Obby Ratings

Ratings, or Likes, are a quick way of giving positive feedback to an obby. You can like another player's obby to show appreciation or a positive sentiment to their obby. When liked, if the player is in the sever, they will receive a notification of your name and that you liked their obby. An obby starts at 0 likes and you cannot like your own obby. Likes contribute to trending obbies as well as featured obbies and are an overall measurement of popularity.

To like an obby you can walk up to the front of an obby once it has loaded in and click the green like button. Here, you can also see how many likes an obby has. Additionally, you can view the name of the obby, share it, or view and purchase donation passes from the creator.

Since likes are a measurement of quality and popularity, many people add attractive features near their like buttons to draw attention to it in hopes people will click it.

Dislike button

Many players have claimed that there was a dislike button available in the first version of Obby Creator, however, this is likely false. Considering that the dislike button is not visible in any of the original release trailers from the first two years of the game's release, meaning this claim was likely false. It came from a single Fandom comment with no evidence.

Trivia

• Your account has to be at least 7 days old to like someone's obby, likely due to a spam prevention measure.
• Badges can be earned for gaining different amounts of likes. Milestones include: 1 like, 5 likes, 10 likes, 25 likes, 50 likes, 75 likes, 100 likes, 150 likes, 200 likes, 300 likes, 500 likes, 750 likes, 1,000 likes, 1,500 likes, 2,000 likes, 2,500 likes, 3,000 likes, 3,500 likes, 4,000 likes, 5,000 likes, 7,500 likes, 10,000 likes, and finally, 15,000 likes.
• There are accounts of players threatening to report other players if they do not like their obby. This is against the rules of Obby Creator and may lead to a permanent suspension if a user is caught doing this.
• Less than a thousand people have ever had 15,000 or more likes on a single obby of theirs.
• Their are no bonuses to likes besides popularity and them counting towards featured obbies and trending sorts.
